Can you see star ratings hosts having given a guest?

They ask me to rate each guest and have only had to rate a guest poorly once. How do I look to see what a host has rated a guest previously? If this is not an option is there any punishment for a guest who gets many bad ratings?

Unfortunately Airbnb does not make the ratings we give guests visible anywhere.  As far as I know if you give a guest the thumbs down they won't have the ability to Instant Book. 

The best tool we have is to read their previous reviews and to be honest and unemotional in the reviews we give our guests.

What I do now is I include the star ratings in the review I give the guest.  Here is an example of a negative review I gave.

"Sue and her family stayed for one week. She booked for 2-4 people. Four people checked in but three more guests arrived for the weekend. On two occasions, the exterior door was left unlocked as well as two bedroom windows at checkout. We would not host this family again. Cleanliness ★★★ Communication ★★★ Observance of House Rules ★★"

You can click on the guest's profile image and if they have any reviews, it will show on the right hand side (going from memory).
