Canceled a reservation to rebook under another person in the party calendar now blocked

Hi, I had someone reach out to me inquiring about renting my home this weekend. His girlfriend then blocked those dates and said that she didn't want to use her credit card for this. When her boyfriend reached out to me tonight to book I couldn't book it because his gilfriend already had an accept/decline on it. So I accepted the girlfriends reservation by accident then quickly declined it as she confirmed she wanted to use her boyfriends reservation. NOw my calendar is blocked for that weekend and I just found out that Airbnb will charge me $100 for this cancelation?

True, Air puts various penalties on hosts cancelling. I suggest you read all about the terms and conditions as you are new.

Whatever you do: don't ever ever cancel for any reason less than burst pipes or similar.
