My present guest has been breaking a few of the house rules and though we have discussed these issues a few times I am not seeing an improvement
I accepted 2 bookings from her friends 2 months ago and although the arrival date is 2 weeks ago i feel unable to cancel as i will be penalised
I am concerned that her friends will be like her and they will jointly break rules
I feel trapped . Im i really unable to cancel these bookings without penalties?
best wishes
Alison
Hi @Alison128,
Unfortunately, Airbnb will see these guests as completely separate to the first guest. Have you cancelled the rest of the original guest's stay? I would call Airbnb to cancel on them as they have broken your rules. That might be enough to drive their friends away. If not, call the company again at the first sign of rule breaking rather than wait and keep having to talk to them.
I forgot to mention. If you call the company, and if the guests have broken rules, you will not be penalized (the company will do the cancelling in this case).
