Cancellations: Is it illegal to fly from San Francisco to New York because of the Bay Area travel ban?

Hey all-

Just wondering if Californians are allowed to leave the state despite the travel ban.   Or is it an enforced lock-down.

Thanks

What does it say on the  California government's website @Michael-and-Stacey0

Lock down usually means exactly that - why would you want to host someone that is breaking their government's lock down legislation.

Californians are not allowed to non-essential travel to places farther than 150 mi from their home. I just got a cancelation for next weekend. It might affect us as hosts, but I think better safe than sorry.

@Michael-and-Stacey0   Whether Californians can leave California or not, anyone entering New York has to get tested 72 hours before they leave home and then get tested again 4 days after arriving in New York.  They must quarantine until both tests show negative results.  https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doh/downloads/pdf/covid/covid-19-travel.pdf
