My wife and I live in Texas most of the time, but we come to KC every 2-3 months to visit. We stay in our home in the Brookside neighborhood of KC, which we let on Airbnb the rest of the time. This has been our first experience as Airbnb Hosts and it has so far proven very agreeable to us and presumably to our guests as well.
We’ve had a fantastic cleaning person (Host Helper) since we put the home up on Airbnb in late 2017, but she has given us a heads-up that she may not be able to continue as the year progresses because her own (unrelated) business is taking more and more of her time. She of course has shaped our entire frame of reference in looking for her replacement—what I want is what we’ve had.
And here’s what we’ve had: I pay our current Host Helper an hourly rate and she does all the things required to turnover the house after each guest checks out. As you can see by our listing, we are Airbnb Superhosts and our guest ratings are very strong. Make no mistake: I give most of the credit for those reviews to our Host Helper. We don't live in KC, so we are 100% dependent on her to get the place ready for the next guest. Last year, we had 59 guests who stayed an average of 3.29 days. She never missed a day. I paid her a total of about $3600 for her time or an average of about $61 per checkout, plus I reimbursed her for whatever she spent on cleaning supplies and such. That may not sound like much time per cleaning visit, but virtually all of our guests have been very tidy and respectful, and most don’t cook.
We rent our house exclusively on Airbnb as a 3/1. While I have been the face of the listing and do all guest communications, my host helper cleans, replenishes, changes bulbs and batteries, checks the fire/CO alarms, etc., and usually schedules herself without communcation from me using the realtime calender link for my listing.

I'm a top-rated cleaner and clean other rentals. I have owned my own business for 15 years, licensed and have excellent references. I work with other hosts who live out of town and maintain their properties. The other hosts are SuperHosts with 5-star reviews and "sparkling clean" often listed by customers. I work on a per cleaning basis NOT hourly because hourly doesn't give the customer the best service as there is no incentive to finish quickly. My goal is to get it done in a thorough, timely manner and move on to the next project. I am available as needed or on-going per your need.

I'm interested in listing my home in a similar on-and-off fashion but have been challenged by finding reputable service providers. It seems you've found a good system. If you new solution has been working well would you mind sharing a referral, please?
