Co host and 180 day hosting period

Hi everyone!  I currently have 1 property in Riverdale in Toronto. I have 40 five star reviews and am loving hosting my guests 😍.   I am almost at 180 days.  Curious what everyone does to rent out after this period of time.  Does co-hosting mean we get another 180 days?

The time period relates to the listing NOT whether you are a host or cohost.

In areas which have restrictions hosts do longer term lets in between ie  London has 90 days so hosts can let during the summer and then let to students during the academic year.

What plans did you make when you set up your listing for what you would do when you reached the STR limit in your area?

Hi! I was going to do longer term rental but now with the huge mortgage rate increases, renting it out will leave a monthly 1000$ shortfall.
