Hi, I just started hosting and due to being out of town for work/vacation, on occasion I may need my friend to help prepare the room for the next guest and maybe do some very light cleaning and potentially a load of laundry (but I have multiple sets of sheets so also probably a rarity). Also, be available for questions/concerns if I am out of town. He lives about a 10 minute drive away.
Question to the community: How do you split payment with your co-host, or what do you pay your co-host, especially if it is only on occasion and not a regular need?
I was playing around with certain percentages or a flat fee (not sure if ABB even accomodates that approach), but if it is on the tail end of a very long stay it might be a lot more if it is a certain %. I lean toward a flat fee approach but not sure what would be reasonable and fair.
In case it is helpful, I only host 1 guest at a time.
