One of my first guests stayed for a week to finish a book she was writing.
Then she and her husband came back the following year.
And they returned one last time.
The reason it was their last time was …
….they fell in love with the area so much they bought a cabin two doors away!
And now we’re neighbors.
After they moved in we met on the road and talked.
“We love it here but there’s one bad thing about owning the cabin,” she said.
I thought about what it could possibly be. Bears? Snow Plowing? Taxes?
And then she said, “because we won’t be staying at your cabin any more and we loved it so much.”
We lost a guest but gained an amazing neighbor!
Here's to airbnb and the amazing connections we make through hosting!
