I usually book a hotel when I go travel. I used booking.com and hotel.com to book my accommodation but I had bad experiences with the hotels I booked through these websites. Therefore, I left very bad reviews for the two hotels I stayed and I found out booking.com did not post my reviews since they were strongly negative. They are trying to protect their businesses such that they can receive more bookings. I don't know why airbnb is so honest that way. Some guests are obviously too strict in giving ratings and the reviews are exaggerated. They should learn how other big hotel websites run their businesses.

It's more honest to post all reviews, good and bad, than to take money from hotels that are doing a crappy job just so the revenue stream from that hotel doesn't end.   Sorry, I don't agree and appreciate that we see both on the Airbnb platform.
