Does anyone know why airbnb have stopped sending texts alerts

I'm still receiving on my alternate (secondary) registered number but not on the primary number.

Maybe, since they now have an app which sends notifications, they stopped SMSs as it was redundant. Bad that they assumed that everyone is always connected to the net.
