El Paso Texas Occupancy Tax

Does anyone in El Paso charge occupany tax for their AirBnBs, and if so, when did you start? From what I understand, it will coincide with the Texas Occupancy tax that will be implemented in May. Does anyone in El Paso County understand it this way? Furthermore, the county tax is 11.5% + 6% for state occupancy tax that AirBnB will collect. So, if so, yes El Paso County is the highest in Texas. Can somebody in El Paso County pls respond.
