Fake hosts ads on Airbnb Berlin

In the last seven days I needed to dive really deep into searching a host in Berlin, updating the site several times a day.

I saw at least three fake ads, which were luckily taken offline, but it still took Airbnb some time.

The informations in this listings were something along the line,

"don't book this apartment [...] just get in touch,  because dates are not synchronised with calender."

pictures were for ridiculous fancy apartments to really low prices.

How and where to point out such listings?

You can flag them. I’m not sure if there is a way to do it on the app, but if you go to a listing on the regular website, there should be a small flag icon below the box where you click to book. It says “report this listing.”

Unfortunately some people still fall for the 'if its too good to be true it must be amazing'!

Flag any listing you think is suspicious and let AirBnB investigate.
