@Lizzie Maybe it could be a pinned post at the top of the Hosting Forum "Format change and glitch notifications", something like that. Since you have the power to delete posts, when a glitch gets fixed, you could simply delete that notification.
The format change issue is really problematic for hosts- hosts, as you're well aware, are busy people- when we go into our hosting account, it's to take care of business. When we are then met with a total format change (which are NEVER announced anywhere) on one page or another, and then have to spend sometimes hours trying to figure where what used to there has been moved to, sometimes not finding it at all, it's so frustrating and infuriating.
So if there is a format change, we not only need to be notified before it is implemented, there needs to be an explanation of where to now find the things that used to be there.
I also would like to say, while I have your ear here, that I can fully understand Airbnb wanting to change up their main listings site, keeping it fresh and graphically interesting, as well as you and the other moderators changing up things on the forums. But please try to convey to the powers that be that change for change sake on our hosting pages is not at all appreciated. We don't need fancy graphics, simplistic kindergarten-like icons, or changes- we just need our hosting pages to be functional and don't have time to be constantly dealing with a new learning curve. Let the graphic designers and programmers use their imaginations and skills elsewhere, because it's not welcomed on our hosting pages. Most of the format changes they do there are beneficial to no one, so what is the point? If it's not broke, don't "fix" it just for fun.
