Green thumbs unite and share your gardening tips

Gardening.jpg

Hey there everyone!

Whether it’s Spring or Autumn in your part of the world, there is always something that needs doing in the garden! We often see comments here in the CC about work you are doing outside, whether it’s getting rid of weeds, planting new flowers, mowing the lawn…the list continues! Here in the UK, I'm planning on potting out the patio peach tree to a more permenant home in the garden, now we've hopefully see the last of the cold snaps.

What are you working on in your garden at the moment? Have you got any gardening tips you’d like to share? Have you ever grown anything used to prepare a dish for your Guests?

I look forward to reading your comments, please share photos if you can too!

Stephanie

@Stephanie Yes Sunflowers do come in several sizes and colors - cool huh! It has been such a joy sharing with guests. Guests have a driveway and all along the fence are flowers, veggies and such....we change up according to season. also, its been really fun sharing Loofahs/ Luffas with some guest - they have even wanted seeds and then reported back their success. Most think that Luffas grow in the sea - NOPE - they are like a squash and if they are left on the vine till they get very dried out they are then those scrubbing loofahs/luffas that folks buy. Mine are soft enough for face washing and just fun to grow and share with a nice bar of soap. My husband is the organic gardener in the family and I'm the food manager/cook....its great to go out back pick, wash and eat ---- or cook and eat. Everything taste better indeed.
