I have just had a guest book using 'Pizza Lover' as his name.   He has been a member since October 2017 but has no reviews. Should I report the profile or is this a common occurrence?

Hi @Tania184

Yes, you should report him.

I would double check - the guest is proably not ID verified, right?

Airbnb should not verify someone with that as a name. If they did, we REALLY have issues...

Comes across as frighteningly infantile. I could only imagine the excuses hosts perhaps have used thus far to not host this comedian.

@Tania184 I see this all the time - perhaps not something as the incredibly inane Pizza Lover - and it seems that even if someone is verified, they can just go in afterwards and change their name to whatever they please. I saw a Superhost recently whose name was "Friendly Cat". I'm going to hazard a guess that their ID doesn't have that on it. They were ID verified. When I asked about it on here, someone charmingly responded that "maybe the sharing economy isn't for you" because I wouldn't want to host or stay with someone who wants to hide behind a bizarre, childish alias.

I would definitely report it.
