Guest changes profile name after receiving a bad review
I had a guest recently who used my house as their own personal frat house. They broke things, including my front window. They partied all weekend and my neighbors complained.
I gave the guest an honest but fair review that included her name. I noticed on my dashboard that she has recently completely changed her profile name. I am concerned for future hosts because she definitly misrepresented herself. Should I be concerned, or am I making something out of nothing?
I thought a lot about it after this happened and thought it would be a good idea for Air Bnb to require all guests over the age of 18 to be registered for the listing, instead of just one lone representative.
Normally its not a problem, but for that one bad egg...
Hi Dave and Deb, I have been trying to find the answer to a question in this regard. I just had a guest who stayed for 18 days, father and son, who did not exactly trash my whole house but trashed the kitchen and later cleaned it up ony becuase I got home early unespectedly. They were high maintenance guests and demanding but I managed until they trashed the kitchen. I held my temper but was stern. They day the left they apparently deleted their profile (I have a record of our correspeondence via the platform and by email). The guests had an extensive profile for Osen and Imoke from India and father and son were traveling before son starts at USF for a phD. Now it is just O and no other information but from India with 4 verifications. I continue to get a request from Airbnb to review O....O did not stay with me. Do I do a review for O like it was the original guests... also, does O do a review for me or is his profile long gone as well as the opportunity for a review? Thanks, Sharon
