Guest has asked to change 2 night reservation to 1 night but our minimum stay is 2 nights

The Guest has sent a request to change 2 night reservation (Friday & Saturday) to 1 night (Saturday) but our minimum stay is 2 nights.

I've replied saying as per the above and have received no response. Is it up to me to 'decline' the request (will there be a penalty for that) or can I ask them to do something at their end, ie withdraw the request?

If it is a change request of a confirmed reservation, submitted by the guest, you can decline (no penalties) or let it expire (24 hours time limit). After that the guest has some options:

- Stay 2 nights

- Stay 1 night, but pay for 2

- Cancel the reservation
