Guest left their stuff

What do I do with my guests stuff that they left? They left clothes and like 3 suitcases of stuff! They also took the keys so I replaced the door handle. I put all their stuff outside in trashbags because the police station wouldn't take it. Any advice? Do just throw it all away?

3 suitcases? are you sure they're not coming back for it? have you contacted them? if they're not coming back and told you via airbnb message to discard their belongings, that's when i would toss it, not until then though.

That's so crazy. No idea, but I suggest getting a keypad entry for your door. I use the kwikset and it's been a life saver.

@Jacob52Make sure to message them on the Airbnb platform. If you get no replie after a few weeks I suggest you donate it to charity. This is very strange!
