Did you know that 40% of guests in your area are booking trips of 1 night or less? Your current minimum night setting prevents these travelers from seeing and booking your listings.

So ... Airbnb is suggesting to rent by the hour or what? 🙂

Somehow I doubt their statistics.... 40% is too low.... I am sure about 7,5 billion guests wants to book my place for 0 nights :)))))))

I've got the same message. I shared it with my friends and we laughed.

I think you set 2 nights minimum, just like me.

If you set 5 nights minimum, you would get a message like "Did you know that XX% of guests in your area are booking trips of 4 night or less? ..."

I’ll set my minimum to 1 night when you stop penalizing me for declining too many requests.

I had the listing set to 1 night briefly and I was getting more interest. However, most of the inquiries were from very young local people who wanted to “hang out and chill with their friends.”

Of course I should take a chance on these guests, since I know Airbnb will cover any damage they might do with that fabulous 1 MILLION DOLLAR host guarantee.

I was about to post about the same thing. Got ANOTHER one of those annoying nonsensical emails this morning and my blood pressure went even higher than it already was. I always fill out the not useful feedback but I will not anymore because no one at airbnb reads it by the look of things. I am not interested in running a pay by the hour brothel, and I actually had a prostitute book early in my hosting career. Lets just say that the booking was terminated pretty quickly, the noise, mess and the fact that they left the door wide open during all of it made it one of my more interesting hosting experiences. I really do not get enough money to deal with all this!!!
