Hi! I had a guest looking to book for a full week when I was away, but would only book if I purchased a small table since my studio apartment does not have much dining space. I agreed since I wanted to get the booking. I found a table option for $17. I was just wondering if this is something AirBnb reimburses hosts for, as they have reimbursed me for various guest-related items in the past. Any ideas?
A small question here, why would Airbnb pay for your furniture? And what have they bought for you in the past? Again, why?
Don't really understand. It is your place, surely. You decide and pays for what goes into it.
I did just look at the listing, and at AUD 204 per night, a small expense of 17 dollars in exchange for a booking seems irrelevant.
Why would you buy a table for a guest? What are you going to do with that table after the guest has left - or worse - cancels?
You are a 1099 contractor, the monies you pay out of pocket should be identified in your bookkeeping for the taxman at the year end.
Seriously want to know what Airbnb is paying for at your property!
@Alice-and-Jeff0, in an aside that has nothing to do with this post, I read your listing and have bookmarked it in my list for examples of good house rules, a question that comes up here often. A really friendly way of getting a good message across. I try to collect different styles of communication to point people to who need it! Great stuff.
Intrigued as to what you were paid for.
