Gym amenties, free in the building or nearby

Gym amenties, free in the building or nearby

Hi

I am confused on how to understand this amenity and I don't want to misrepresent.

There is a gym nearby our listing but it is not free.

So must the gym be free? or can it be a paid for gym?

Thank you

Vanessa

@Vanessa941 If it's not an included amenity - which it's not if the guest has to pay extra for it - I would not check it off. You could let guests know that a gym is available in your listing description or your information binder, but I wouldn't check it off because people will likely be disappointed if they filter their search for that amenity.

@Vanessa941  "Amenities" refers only to the features contained inside the property, not to stuff that's available elsewhere in your neighborhood.

Each of the Amenity boxes that you tick is a thing that you're contractually obliged to supply to your guests, so if you don't own a gym facility you shouldn't tick that box. However, it's OK to mention in the text of your listing description all the goods and services that are nearby.
