I live in a condo and my HOA has a bylaw that sates "All units of this project shall be used as private dwellings for a single family only, or as offices for commerical purposes."

From what I've read/understand, HOAs don't typically allow short term or airbnb rentals when the units are for single family only. However, I am curious if it would possibly be allowed by my HOA since there are units being used commerically. 

NOTE: I am not looking for legal advice, just the opinions/experiences of those who are familiar with HOA bylaws.
