Hardwood floors damaged (past 14 days)

I've been hosting for about 7 months in a condo and one of my guests a few months ago had a party and put a bunch of dents all over the hardwood floors.

I have history of communication with the guest about this, they must've had a friend who had a small rock in their shoe and they ended up putting hundreds of dents all over the place. It's very unsightly and looks bad, I kind of want to repair this now.

I didn't put in an airbnb claim at that time because I thought that airbnb would not cover it and my deposit is only $300, so that's not really relevant since this would probably cost $2000+ I would imagine.

Is it too late to try to get airbnb to cover this cost? I didn't document it properly however besides my messages asking the guest through airbnb how this happened.

am I basically screwed?

@Sinan3 yes and no, I don't really know the absolute answer. It doesn't hurt to reach out to airbnb and give it a try to ask for assistance for the claim.
