Has airbnb changed their Customer Service policies or training?

Up until recently I always found the Customer Care reps (I think that's what they're called) helpful, fair and communicative. This time around it seems things have changed, when I had an issue what I was met with was promised returned calls but nothing, accusatory tones and a general lack of follow up. 

I had an issue and it's been a month and not only have I not received a response to my correspondence (despite being told that if I have question they will be answered) I've called and no one has had the decency to even return my calls. I actually even emailed an airbnb person I met at an event in my city and still nothing..

 

Has something changed? Have any other Hosts experienced this change in their service?
