Host hasn’t approved stay and checkin is now

Hi all, host hasn’t approved stay but I’ve paypalled (airbnb hasn’t charged it just yet, it’s waiting for host approval) and checkin time was 1 hr ago. My friends and I don’t know whether to drive there or not.... and the host still has 24 hrs to reply, even tho checkin is today

@Phoebe95  If your host didn’t approve it’s not confirmed. (You don’t have a confirmation number do you?) Are there any other places available? Otherwise you can just wait? How long does it say it takes host to respond on their profile?

@Phoebe95  Airbnb is not a good choice for last-minute bookings for this very reason. But if the host has not taken action on your request, you can still withdraw it without being charged. If you don't do so, and the host accepts the booking hours too late for you to proceed with the trip, you will simply lose your money.
