Hosting calendar idea

At the end of the section Other things to note I place a list of everything that is happening in our region so that if guests wish to come or return too Serenity Cottage, they can do it knowing what events will be on during their stay.

The problem with this is, guests have to actually read the entire advertisement to get to that section, and after hosting for a few years now (where has the time gone?) I realise that not all guests are readers.

Wouldn't it be a great idea if we, as hosts, could add these to our actual booking calendar, so that gets could see at a glance what was on? 

I could see it as being a boon for hosts, making it also much easier to work out when our peak dates are, for those of us that don’t actually have a peak ‘season’ as it were.

What are your thoughts?
