House Booked - Now Guest won't respond

I respond immediately then airbnb says I haven't even though client has replied?

Did you get a reservation confirmation from Airbnb?  Simply reponding to an inquiry doesn't constitute confirmation.  Did you send a pre-approval? If so, the guest has 24 hours to accept and they might have booked elsewhere during this time.  Sometimes guests don't respond when they find alternate lodgings.
