We all have to start somewhere and many guests do not leave a review
also ABB "lost" a guest who stayed a week no sign no review but worse it shortens my list so good luck
As Sara says, we are all new at some point. You had no reviews and your first guests took a chance on you, didn't they? If we only took guests with reviews, the platform would cease to exist. The majority of my guests are new to Airbnb. I am happy to welcome them to the community, advise them on protocol, to put information in their profile etc. etc. I have hosted hundreds of guests and can honestly say that first-timers are usually the best - they have nothing to compare it to! And they are on their best behaviour. For me, the tone of the initial communication means far more than any verification or reviews. If they are polite and communicative, we have a good starting point.
Having just looked at your listing, honestly I think it will be better to put your efforts into ensuring that you meet your guests personally rather than worry about your security. It would improve your reviews, give guests a sense of being welcome and, crucially, give you peace of mind. When you meet a guest, smile and look them in the eye, you make a connection. That is not only good hospitality but also works on a very basic level - people are much less likely to disrespect your place if they have met you in person.
