How can I change the cancellation policy to confirmed reservation?

I didn't set my cancellation policy correctly when I listed the propery.  How can I change the cancellation policy to a confirmed reservation? Thanks.

Hi @Miranda0,

 

You cannot change the cancellation policy for a guest who has already confirmed a reservation.  That is the policy you and that guest agreed to at the time of booking.  You can however change it to the policy you wish to have going forward and any bookings you get after the change will apply to the policy you changed to.

On the other hand, if you're trying to be more generous (offer a refund for a cancellation), then that can be done using the Resolution Center tool. You can't, however, make it more strict because the guest agreed to the policy in place at the time of booking and changing the rules in the middle of the game is not fair to them.
