How can I collect sales tax as a supplemental payment?

Hi @Jackie11 Currently there are no really good optons.  I believe Airbnb is working on a solution that would give hosts an extra line item for calculating local taxes, but can't say how, when or if in fact they are.  At the moment, here's a link that explains your current options:

Personally I include the taxes in my nightly price and then remit it to the tax collector on a monthly basis.  This has the advantages of not having "Add-On's" to my price and not having to hassle guests about it in Special Offers or at the door.  The downside is that my nightly price is inflated and I pay the Airbnb service fee on money I ultimately send to my county.  

Hope Airbnb comes up with a solution soon!
