How do I change the price to add an additional night?

I have guests staying for 3 nights, and their reservation has been set for a few weeks. We just agreed that they would extend their trip for a fourth night for a reduced cost for the 4th night. How do I charge them this amount?

Herei s what I tried - I went to the calendar and changed the nightly fee to that amount, but when the guests added that night, there was an extra $104 added to the amount. Any ideas?

You can "alter" the reservation dates to extend through the additional night. The system will ask your guest to approve the change. If the nightly rate for the last night is higher than what you had worked out, you can refund the difference through the Resolution Center. (Do a search in the Help menu for it.) Or you can always send a "Special Offer" for the 4th night, but depending on your minimum night stay, you may or may not be able to offer just one night. Hope that's helpful!

First change the booking to reflect the correct number of nights - your guests will accept that at the higher rate.

Then you can send them a Special Offer, which should include the total costs agreed for the 4 nights accommodation, plus your cleaning fee. Do not add on the AirBnB service charges - that will happen automatically.

Once you send them the Special Offer they will need to accept it for it to be valid - so ensure that you get an acceptance email back to you and see it confirmed at the right rate in your reservations listings.
