How do I get guest's correct email when purchasing a gift card. Purchase site rejects email address

Trying to purchase a gift card for a cancellation refund and when i scroll guests furnished email the site rejects it for containing symbols after@ tried everything and gave up after 45 minutes.

@Lloyd-and-Diane0 You can try contacting Airbnb who can attempt to call the guest and get the correct email address.
