How do you start a Host Meet Up for your area?

How do you start a host meet up for your area? How do you get in touch with people without being spammy. Where I host, I think Hosts coming together every now and then to talk laws, up coming votes on airbnbs, who to vote for that is pro airbnb, and other topics might be really beneficial.

@Juliana62  Are you familiar with the Home Sharing Club?  I think that is what you are describing.  Go to Discuss and select Home Sharing Club.  See if your area already has one and if not.

@Juliana62  Click on the Meet Ups tab at the top of the page and you can set one up for your area. Start a thread on the forum in hosting to direct members to it. Give a bump every week until the actual event.
