How far in advance can a host cancel a booking without a penalty

How far in advance can I cancel a booking without a penalty?. I have overlapped a booking but it's 6 months Away.

@Diana17 Unfortunately Airbnb treats all cancellations the same regardless of how far in advance they are made.  Can you amend the reservation with the guest's approval?  Are you listed on more vacation rental sites other than Airbnb?  If so, its up to you to keep your calendars (and prices) in sync.  Here's Airbnb's article on host cancellations.  Try to avoid cancelling at all costs.
