How to verify infant/toddler age?

I was wondering if there is a way/any host that have experience verifying/confirming an infant/toddler guest age? Sure, I can guess when they arrive, but is there a way I can confirm/verify this that let's say the kid is 2 year old and not 3 year old?

We had  a family arrive with “two infants”. They jumped out of the car in the street and ran inside. The guests were so obviously not wanting to pay though they used the beds, dirtied the windows, left toys around etc. Hotels and airlines charge so why should it it be different to Airbnb. We are so reasonably priced that it is annoying. My point is if they hadn’t booked I could have had up to 8 paying adults. Do the right thing and pay for your “children”. If you can’t afford to travel, don’t. We waited for years before we were able to afford a holiday.
