I am new to airbnb and have a guest who wants to ad 2 more days to her reservation.When i add the 2 days, it only charges for 1 night.

Its easier if the guest changes it threw Airbnb

Submit the alteration request to your guest.  I find often when the guest makes the request, it charges a much larger rate which may be a glitch in the system.

Please make sure you enter the total amount including cleaning fee (if you have one) in the price box and when it is sent to the guest, the Airbnb fee will be added in.

To submit an alteration request, follow these instructions from a computer or laptop:

1. Go to Your Reservations on airbnb.com.
2. Click Change or Cancel next to the reservation you want to change.
3. Choose Change Reservation.
4. Click Submit Alteration.
5. If the guest accepts your request, the reservation will be updated and they'll be charged or refunded if necessary. If the request is declined or you don’t receive a response, the reservation will stay the same.
