I blocked dates out in diary but guest was able to instant book (?)

I blocked out some dates last week as I knew a friend would be staying and yet someone was able to book. Have been using Instant book but am unclear why this should happen?

Hi @Kallan0 there have been quite a few reports of this nature here in the CC recently. Airbnb's IT is very poor but we as hosts can't assist. So the only thing I can recommend is that you call Airbnb on 0203 318 1111 or send a DM on twitter to @airbnbhelp which seems to get quick results.
