I cancelled but just wanted to change the dates

Hi there--some people tried to book my place for Satureday but I couldn't get a cleaner to come until Sunday. So I suggested they check in on Sunday and they said okay. But I was unable to change the dates, so I cancelled. Now they are unable to make the booking. Please help. Thanks.
