I have a guest who has tried to book a date in July but his profile is coming up as Checking point!

Does anyone know what this means "checking point".

His profile was not verified so I explained to him this. He then verified his account and I pre-approved his stay, however it still did not remove the checking point on his profile and it also said that the date was not available even thought it is.

I then spoke with the guest and suggested that we cancel everything and try again.  Now it is rejected on my side and he has an approved date but in my calendar it reads blocked date - not available.

I would go to airbnb but they never respond to queries so hopefully here someone has a similar experience. Many thanks in advance.

@Carl15 whenever you cancel reservations from your side, the corresponding dates are automatically blocked, unless you use instant booking and have canceled less than 3 times a year.

As for the checking point, I don't know what you mean, maybe you can post a screenshot?

HI Tulio, the guest and I just thought we would restart the enquiry again... hence I said that I would reject his initial enquiry and unblock the date. However this does not seem to work. I don't use instant booking at all because I prefer to be able to read the reviews of people staying. :-).. Thanks for the info. I will take a photo of the "Checking" status and send it out and see if others have seen this.
