Please don't fall for this.

The only person who may benefit from this is OP as he has hundreds of hosts liking his listing, where as other hosts here only get a few hosts liking theirs.

There are much better ways to boost your listing. Look at what Airbnb recommends hosts do here:-

Hi @Lilian20

I understand the concept of helping each other out. But are you doing any vetting of listings you are agreeing to promote?

For example,  if there is host that has lots of cancellations, or bad reviews,  are you still going to promote them?

Also interested in how you promoting listings though your social media channels and adding to your favourites on Airbnb is going to enable hosts to increase their prices?

Although there is much discussion around what boosts your rankings on Airbnb I would imagine location, price, ratings and reviews, Instant Book, availability, and market saturation are much more likely to factor in how likely you are to get bookings, then a host with a few thousand random social media followers, who 'favourites' your listing.

Hello @Helen3 - thanks for participating.

All the properties which i have recommanded on twitter and facebook or added to my favourites are managed by good people which i know for regularly chatting with in private message or through public posts.

If you like my property  https://www.airbnb.fr/rooms/12043937  and the way I have managed it so far, please share it on the web and add it to your wishlist. That will be very appreciated.

Hi @Lilian20

Thanks for clarifying that you are vetting listings you promote.

Would you also come back about my point, around how you know that doing this will generate more bookings for hosts/enable them to charge more?

@Helen3 , you're welcome.

I think you need to relax about it, here is how it works : https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Hosts/Relax-make-your-life-easier-now-be-picky/m-p/372880#M85115

Hi @Lilian20

I saw your previous post about this.

My point was that what actually pushes listings up the rankings as I mentioned previously includes 1. Location 2. Price 3. Instant Book, 4. High ratings 3. Availability of your property 4. Saturation in your location (the more similar listing there are, the harder you fight for a  first page ranking).  Sharing links with a few thousand followers and favouriting a listing once or twice will have little if any impact.

I just think its a little disengious to say to people that you posting about them on your social media and 'favouriting' their listing will help them charge more or get more bookings. You maybe doing this with the best of intentions, but I am not sure you fully understand how SEO works and the impact (or actually lack thereof) that it has on a host's listing.

Although links from high quality or high ranking sites ie national and international media, celebrity bloggers, influencers can drive traffic to a site and then convert a site visit to a purchase.  Say a celeb promotes a tshirt or jewellry then their fans might buy it. Or if any influential politican says something controversial it will get shared across social media.

HOWEVER. - Say you promote a listing to 3000 followers and say 10 have a look at the listing. Of those 10, 9 are doing so out of general interest but have no interest in travelling to that country/city.  1 might have an interest in that country but not the city, or the city but not the property. How does this help a host push up their prices or get more bookings?
