Just a vent on the review ratings

I just found this site and have to vent.  I love hosting my house, but I hate waiting for the reviews.   It is so random the way people give ratings.  They will write a stellar review and then give all "4"s.   I do believe some people just can't give a 5 no matter what.  I think this rating system does not take into account the randomness of people and their reviews.  The written reviews are always excellent, but then they give a "4" for "value" -- when we offer a 3 br/3ba house with everything included for way less than a basic hotel in town.

1. Let them know that it's just like amazon...... if your not going to leave a 5* then please don't leave one! 🙂 2. Remind them you have to write a review of them... 3. Ask lots of questions...lots of times, clean enough? warm enough? quiet enough...etc. 4. Always leave a little thank you card with a little chocolate when they leave... they'll remember that. 
Also, remember that all reviews are basically to engage the guest,  for airbnb to sell their data... 🙂
