Last day of a listing

I am unclear as to what is the last day of a listing. For example if I have the last day marked as available is that the last day the guests can sleep over or is that the day they have to leave?

If the booking is from January 24-28th, then the guests has their last night sleeping in your place as January 27th, and exits the listing by your checkout time on January 28th.  They do not sleep at your place on January 28th.
