Last minute cancellation during PEAK Season

A guest cancelled their reservation the day they were to arrive.

Their flight was cancelled due to weather conditions.

The guest has not cancelled the reservation on airbnb, simply sent 

me a text.

I would like to clear the calendar as it is quite possible to accommodate

another guest.

What do I do?

The guest has to cancel with airbnb. You need to let them know that, otherwise they will be charged for their stay. Do not do the cancellation yourself. You will be penalized by airbnb.

If they did not cancel, you will get your payout anyway, so why worry ?
