Leaving a reference for someone on Airbnb

I want to leave a reference/review for someone on Airbnb...all I have is that person's first name on Airbnb.  I don't have his email address or Facebook account name.  How do I do that?

A review can only be left if you stayed with the host or if you hosted someone… Usually you will get a message the day after the check-out asking to leave the review…

A reference cannot be left pro actively… The person needs to ask somebody to write a reference about him/her…

Shoot, Luis.  I was hoping that I could just click on that person's name or photo on Airbnb to leave a reference.  That would really be the easiest way.  Thanks though.

Hi @Michele35,

You can leave references but you would need to know their email address or have them as a friend on Facebook.

Thanks, Dave.  I was hoping that I could just click on that person's name or photo in Airbnb to leave a reference.  That would really be the easiest and most direct way.

I see that Airbnb says that references are inactive and won't show on your profile. Is that correct? New host here. 🙂
