Hi!

Does anyone here know who I can contact to find out what my city's (Los Angeles) official policy is re AirBnB?  I'm in process of purchasing a new house with another unit I plan to AirBnB and for many reasons, in this instance, I want to make sure that it is all above board.  The unit is a legal unit, but I'm not sure if I have to register it as an AirBnB somewhere, or pay special taxes, etc...and I have no idea who to contact in my area to find out...any help appreciated!  Thank you-

@Abigail19  Have you checked the Los Angeles City website regarding short term rentals?  The regulations are found there.  That being said, you might also want to tap into existing LA hosts' experience.  There is a Los Angeles Host Club and much is listed there about current and potential regulations.  On this site, under Discuss, find Home Sharing Clubs and select Los Angeles. See if you can get more specific support for your questions.  Good Luck!
