Looking for a co-host in Austin and startup advice...

I have a two bedroom one bathroom bungalow in East Austin near The Sahara. Several years ago I did Airbnb briefly but stopped because I lived in the house and started working at home. I have now built another home on the property that I am moving into and I am considering Airbnb for the original house. I would keep the home available 100% of the time.

If I were to go this route, I would like some help with the data to day logistics and helping guests, but I am also looking for some advice on pricing, listing, and setting up the home. I am also looking for some advice from an experienced host on how much I could expect to make. This home would typically long term lease for about 1600 per month.

So, I would like to establish a relationship with an experienced host in my area who could give me some advice in getting started as well as be a partner in managing the property. I could also be a help to a partner host as well.

@John1034 First step would be to contact the city and confirm that you will be able to receive a legal permit for your listing.

They have capped some types/locations

Hi John,

I'm an experienced Superhost and I help people get started with Airbnb. I manage several properties in the Austin area and would love to help you with yours! Unfortunately, any attempts at offsite contact will be blocked by Airbnb but you can find me online by searching for Bonhost. [Personal information hidden for safety reasons - to use the Community Center's direct message function hover over the profile photo and click Send Message]
