Moving / swapping guest bookings between 2 properties

I'd like to swap 2 confirmed bookings with each other.  Both my guests are ok with my proposed swap.

Current situation:

Guest 1: booked property A from 5-7 September

Guest 2: booked property B from 1-10 September

Desired situation:

Guest 1: move to property B from 5-7 September

Guest 2: move to property A from 1-10 September

In a normal situation I just

- change the booking to another property

- the guest accepts the change

- booking is changed

But in this particular situation this is not possible because the destination property won't be available in the calendar.

What can I do?

You can go to "my reservations" and choose the change/cancel button.  Now you can switch between properties and send an alteration request to your guests.

This doesn't work, because you can only move someone to another property if it's vacant.  In this case we need to do two moves  simultaneously which Airbnb doesn't seem to support.

I'm having the same issue, and I wish there was a way to do this.
