My potential guest has asked me a question and I don't know the answer............PLEASE HELP!

I am a host in South Africa. He is a South African living and working in the USA and he asks....

Would I be able to pay using a South African credit card in rands and not $?

I have said that Airbnb will process, but I cannot respond specifically to his question.

Can anyone advise me?

Thanks

He can pay with whatever credit card he has registered. If it is a SA credit card he has registered then it will be charged in rand to his SA credit card account. If he has a US card registered there will be a foreign exchange fee charged. But get him to check with his bank - you are not his credit card supplier or banker?

Thats one of the benefits of using AirBnB, they deal with the money issues and you just get paid.
