Name copying

I've had a listing up for several months, and now someone in the exact same area has just listed a new posting with my almost identical name.  To me this seems like this shouldn't be able to happen.  I'd like my name to stand out and not be confused with another location.

What can be done??

Your name is descriptive and it is not really unique. IANAL but if you wanted a name that no one else could use, it would have to meet the requirements of a trademark and in order to get the legal protections of having a trademark you would need to register it. https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks-getting-started/trademark-basics

Not to make light of it - but why not just rename your listing to

"The ORIGINAL Peaceful Farmhouse - that really is close to everything!"

Don't worry - and take heart from this - the stats show that guests select listings from the following:

Price

Pictures

Price

Location

Price

Reviews

Price

Amenities

The Listing title doesn't come into it - at all.
