Negative things discovered after the review has been posted

I had four young women staying for a weekend and I know they drank a lot from the recycling they left.  That in itself is not an issue.  However, although on the surface of it, they seemed to have left the place in relatively good condition, I found out after I submitted my review that they had spilled red wine on the wall behind the sofa (I really don't know how this can have happened).  They have tried to clean it off and taken paint work off with it.  The stain is still very much there.  I have sent them a message but would like to alert other hosts to such behaviour.

@Caroline74  If your review is posted, so is their review, right?  You could make a comment on their review.  Some hosts look at the guest reviews of hosts when deciding to accept a guest.  Of course if they use IB then the host will not be alerted.  

If you think their behavior is especially bad, then you would report it by flagging the guest.  If you had expense to repaint the wall, that would be claimed in the Resolution Center.

From your description it sounds like tipsy behavior not terrible damage, right?  I can imagine having a glass of wine in my hand with my arm propped up on the back of the couch and spilling wine, although I prefer white so no damage...:)  good luck!

Just to add to @Linda108's comments, you might like to take a look at How to remove stains? thread here in the Community Center. I am sure many hosts here in the CC have experienced red wine stains,  so you could see how others have managed to remove it from their carpets. 🙂
